Samuel Kazen practices in all major areas of litigation. He has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal in relation to complex commercial actions and applications. Sam has also assisted clients before various administrative tribunals, including the Trade-marks Opposition, the Copyright Board of Canada, and the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.
Sam is also a registered Canadian Trade-mark Agent with reciprocal recognition to represent clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Prior to joining Costa Law Firm, Sam operated his own litigation practice for several years, worked as an associate lawyer at law firms in downtown Toronto, and served as a Provincial Offences Prosecutor for over two years.
